Do Your Own PR- Networking Event-6-8pm Tuesday 23rd June The British Library Business and IP Centre
To succeed in business, entrepreneurs need to make sure their companies differentiate themselves from the rest. Media relations (otherwise know as PR) is a great way to achieve this. Its best described as the next best thing to a word-of-mouth-recommendation, except that you are getting through to potentially thousands of people, rather than just one or two.
If you are not a well-known brand, it can be very difficult to persuade potential clients and customers to use your company. After all, why would anyone want to use your product or services when there are already established brands out there that they can use instead?
On 23rd June join us to learn and share ideas on how to use PR to stand out from the crowd!
Our expert speaker will be PR coach Paula Gardner of www.doyourownpr.com, a PR and marketing coach who works with growing businesses to help them get exposure in the press. Paula cut her teeth in the celebrity, working with clients such as George Michael and Bill Wyman. She now teaches businesses of all sizes how to use PR to create interest, keep up with and surpass the competition and generally move up to the next level.
