New Grants for Social Enterprises in Health & Social Care
The Social Investment Business have announced a new grant programme to support the best and most innovative new ideas in health and social care services.
Grants will be made available from the Department of Health's Social Enterprise Investment Fund (SEIF) to those organisations who are currently delivering services as well as to support new enterprises and entrepreneurial individuals looking to develop ideas to improve service in health and social care. For start up businesses there are 50 grants of up to £50,000 available through the Fund. A further 20 grants of up to £200,000 are also available for social enterprises who are already trading and are looking to expand. Applications must be received by January 15, 2010.
