Networking in Enterprise week
This week is Make Your Mark Enterprise Week 2008 part of Global Entrepreneurs Week.
There are lots of activities and events to engage in in Liverpool and further a field so it would be right to discuss "Networking" in this weeks newsletter.
All successful businesses need business partners to move forward and grow. Bill Gates said "Our success has really been based on partnerships from the very beginning."
From this despite what the media would have us believe, successful entrepreneurs are vary rarely one-man bands, to develop as professionals and grow our businesses we all need to build a strong support group.
Sharing your vision with the people who work for you and advise you is critical to achieving true success with any longevity.
The more people who know what it is you're up to, the more of them will be buying whatever it is you're selling. Everything is down to perception however - you may have a great product or service but it is the "perceived value" that counts so tell a better story of you and your business and communicate this effectively with passion & integrity.
The internet, email, and telephone are great mediums of communication but for this week try and prioritize the old fashioned face-to-face networking by attending some events and sharing your story and listening to others - old and young - we can all learn and be inspired off each other.
