dot-art exists to help artists promote and sell their work.

They make affordable, locally sourced, original art accessible to all.

As an established art gallery and consultancy they identify or commission suitable art work for individuals, companies, hotels, venues, etc.

The company was set up in 2006 by Lucy Byrne and is based in Liverpool city centre. 

dot-art currently work with over 100 artists to provide an unrivalled choice of affordable, high quality, locally sourced art work for home or business, both through the gallery and comprehensive website, www.dot-art.com. In addition they source and supply artists for a wide range of other projects, including workshops, training, community participation events etc.

dot-art was born in response to talking to artists and hearing about a lack of support, opportunities, marketing exposure and access to sales avenues in the city. Lucy had completed an Art History degree in Liverpool and was shocked initially by the relatively small number of commercial galleries compared with the wonderful public galleries we have. She felt that there was no-where in the city for the general public to see and buy, affordable, accessible art for their homes, and talking to friends, felt this was a market which had potential.

dot-art aim's to become the leading supplier of quality original art work to individuals and businesses in the North West, and continue to develop and support the huge pool of artistic talent in the region to achieve their full potential.

Striding Out has provided us with access to valuable training opportunities, giving me the chance to take a strategic look at where we were lacking in skills and address these issues in a practical and focussed manner. I look forward to
continuing to work with the Striding Out team in the future.
