Simon is an expert at supporting entrepreneurs and has seen the creation of hundreds of businesses. He regularly speaks at entrepreneurship events and is a frequent guest judge for entrepreneurship competitions.

As a leading figure in the coaching and leadership field, Simon trains and coaches leaders from across all sectors and has delivered thousands of hours of professional coaching.

As well as leading the Striding Out operation, Simon maintains a private client practice and is the lead trainer for the Leadership Courses that Striding Out offers.

Simon has over 15 years experience working in senoir management for large organisations, in the Financial Services and Telecommunications industries, with companies such as Norwich Union, Swinton and Telewest. He has supported the development of many senoir management teams to help develop their leadership style, team performance and business proposition for customers.

His last corporate role was Head of Coaching for O2 where he led a team of over 250 coaches across four sites, supporting the development of over 6,000 advisors.

As Director of ID Coaching Ltd, Simon has delivered Executive Coaching, Coaching Skills Training, Customer Service Skills Training, Workshop and Seminar delivery and Group facilitation.

He is a trustee of a charity working to support young people and equine welfare and also works pro bono to support many social enterprises.

As "the coaches coach" Simon has nurtured the development of hundreds of coaches and supervises coaches as part of his role within Striding Out. He is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation.
